So, is this going to be replacing the Atola Insight (I assume it will replace both the Ethernet and USB Versions of the Atola Insight as well), or is this a completely different device and the Insight will still remain?

If this is not taking the place of the Insight, what advantages does this have over the Insight, and what advantages does the Insight have over this one?

Scott, thank you for good questions.

First and foremost, I would like to answer your second question. Atola Insight Forensic with the new unit is better than Atola Insight with USB or Ethernet unit in everything. I can’t even think out a single advantage old Insight has. Atola Insight Forensic and it’s much more powerful DiskSense unit should be considered as nextgen solution.

That is why Atola Technology hopes to see migration of the most customers to our new product. Atola Insight Forensic gives more benefits and improve efficiency while performing data recovery tasks or some forensic investigation.

But migration won’t be compulsory of course. We will offer Atola Insight Forensic in a mild way. Quite soon a special upgrade option will be introduced to all Atola Insight customers. I believe it should be quite cheap and easy for everybody.

Meanwhile old Atola Insight continues its life-cycle and its next 3.3 software update is currently under development.

I have been the new Atola DiskSense Unit and it is second to none. I have been using other Data Recovery units and this unit is by far the easiest to use. It is smart and very user friendly. I had a few hard drives holding on to for some customers, and after I ran the diagnostics on a few of them, it told me exactly what the problem is and now all I need to do is to get a new circuit boards and the data is back.

I would like to especially thank John Graham for is exceptional customer service. If I was to grade him out of 10, I would give him a 9 1/2 and that is because the biggest room in the house is never full. That’s the room for improvement. There is always something one can improve on. Thanks John for your remarkable assistance and for serving with distinction. I look forward collaborating with you to make my business bigger and better.
