I have checked with our developers, they say that this is not something that could be easily fixed (the problem is related to OS permissions on read-only NTFS volumes). I have to recover my 300gig (FULL) hard drive. THe partitons is found etc; I've gone and purchased an external drive to move the data to. However the system crashes (the cause of the loss in the first place I feel) when I try to attacch it. So the new plan it to copy the data accross the network to another PC - but I can't share the Drive? Any clues? And I've answered my own question about making a contribution - buy the Pro version.
