We are retiring Atola Bandura, our standalone high-speed disk duplicator. If you have one, please update to the latest firmware. Do not worry, we will still fully support your Bandura if you run into any issue. Why would we cancel such a great product? Bandura was the coolest disk duplicator ever. We put a lot of effort into making it a great product, so it was hard for us to make this decision. Atola Disk Recycler 1.8 released

We have just released a software update for our Atola Disk Recycler product. It contains many bug fixes and several new features. You can find the full list of changes in the change log. The biggest feature of this release is the Grid View. It significantly simplifies management of many Disk Recycler units at once. If you happen to manage more than 10 units (40 ports), this feature can be much more efficient than Classic View.

Bye-bye Windows XP and Vista

I would like to announce that we are dropping support for Windows XP and Vista for our products listed below: Atola Insight Atola Imager Atola Forensic Imager Atola Disk Recycler It was not an easy decision, but after weighing our options we are certain that this is the only way to ensure quality of our products in the future releases. Bad Sector Recovery

Hard drives are built in a way so that they never return unreliable data. This means that if the hard drive cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of the data requested, it will simply return an error and will never give away any data at all. Understanding Bad Sectors General causes for bad sector formation are physical or magnetic corruption.
